The summer weather has come and gone, but that doesn't mean the sun isn't shining! I never understood why people think sunglasses are only acceptable during the summer. In my opinion, they can be worn all year round! As a new driver, I have discovered how important it is to wear sunglasses while driving, not only because I look adorable, but also because it's dangerous to drive with the sun in your eyes. So, while some styles may be more summery than others, sunglasses are a year-round accessory. Here are some of my favorite shades for this fall season:
It's no surprise that these Tory Burch Shades are at the top of my Hanukkah list. Aside from my obsession with Tory Burch, these sunglasses are SO PERFECT. I tried them on last night at Sunglass Hut and immediately fell in love. The butterfly frame style is very sophisticated and fashion forward, and the shade of blue is so beautiful. For $165, these shades are fun, fashionable, and affordable.
So Tiffany & Co. makes sunglasses now? I hope I'm not the last one to discover this! If these adorable Cat Eye sunglasses don't scream Audrey Hepburn, then I don't know what does. I love how retro these shades are. They have a splash of the iconic Tiffany Blue color on the inside of the frame. And, the crystal detailing on the side is so beautiful. While they are a little bit on the pricey side at $480, these elegant glasses are so classy and timeless.
If you're looking for something super-trendy, then look no further than these Lanvin shades. I love these pink frames because they look like they are straight from the MBFW runway. This pair of sunglasses is perfect for the risk-taking fashionista. These aren't your average sunglasses. At $500, you will be sure to turn heads this fall in these pink and purple Lanvin shades!
And finally, if you're looking to wear a piece of art on your face, these Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses are perfect for you. At $490, you'll feel like a celebrity in these shades. I love these sunglasses because they are SO unique. I'll admit, they're a little "out there," but if you have the confidence of a true fashionista, you can definitely rock these shades. The flower details are so intricate and beautiful; I can't help but fall in love with this pair of sunglasses!
As the great Spongebob once said, "The best time to wear a striped sweater is all the time." A sweater may not be ideal on a scorching summer day in Manhattan. But, there is nothing better than wearing a sweater on a cozy fall afternoon. Sweaters come in every shape and style, so whether you are a preppy princess or a glamour grunge, there is a sweater for you.
I love this frilly, girly girl look for the fall. I'm obsessed with matching plain tops with patterned bottoms. The creme sweater is adorable and I like how it's boxy. I especially love the polka dot tights and Jeffrey Campbell-style heels; they lengthen your body and make your legs look super thin. The frilly socks are an adorable touch to this outfit. I love how this outfit can jazz up a plain sweater and turn it in to an amazingly cute outfit!
These three combinations are perfect for an everyday look. I think funky patterned sweaters are so trendy, especially with Toms. I love how comfy sweaters like these are, and they are usually pretty cheap (I buy mine from American Eagle and PacSun). To mix things up, you can pair a sweater like these with bright-colored jeans, like Sarah Jessica Parker does here:
Finally, I <3 GRAPHIC SWEATERS! They are ABSOLUTELY my favorite sweater type for this fall season. They come in so many different varieties and are a great way to showcase your unique style. If you have a favorite band, by a sweater with their name on it. If you love cats, buy a cat sweater! There are so many different ways to accessorize these sweaters too! Here are four different graphic sweater combinations:
There are comfy and cute sweaters for every style, and they are the best way to stay warm all winter! My all-time favorite sweater is the Cassidy American Flag Sweater from Brandy Melville. I bought it last year and i wear it all the time. It's soft, fun, and always feels cozy!
